Charity Projects

The British Medical Football Team is a registered charity with the aim of promoting and protecting the physical health of men by

  1. Educating the public on important mens health issues eg heart disease and prostate problems
  2. Advising men and their families about mens health issues through invitation to events and leading by example
  3. Holding and attending medical conferences with the aim of promoting excercise and sports as part of a healthy life style choices

Our charitable status was recognised in January of 2011 and more details can be found on the charity commission website.  Our charity registration number is 1140004.

In addition to our own activities, BMFT also endeavours to raise the profile of of other charitable organisations.  As hosts for this year's World Medical Football Championships in Manchester, we are supporting Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  More information of teir activities may be found at www.jdrf.org.uk.
